Myofascial Release is a manual massage technique for stretching the fascia and releasing bonds between fascia, dermal tissues, muscles and bones. It may be used to eliminate pain, ease restriction within range of movement and to restore normal function. Myofascial technique is applied directly or indirectly to allow the connective tissue fibres to realign in a more flexible, functional fashion.
Fascia is located between the skin and underlying tissues making a connective network incorporates the muscles, organs, and skeletal framework.
Myofascial Release technique can be used in treatment and rehabilitation of injuries, trauma and chronic conditions and postural problems.
